Play this at your next gathering and catch a vibe.

Knoxx visited Fort Collins building with Kind Dub on the art of sampling with a workshop at the Music District for hip hop history month. The next day followed up with a performance at first fridays at The Artery. When Knoxx heard K.Benally & LETSJUSB were coming into town to perform at The Artery he was ecstatic to collaborate. All the work came together for a brand new track where they even utilized the sample pack released from Kind Dub in their song.

Knoxx sampled them before their performance, guest DJ-ing their set. Afterwards they went to sequence and record the rest of the song. The on the fly sampling, writing and recording style was an art of visiting to put together a track bringing energy around unity, vision, healing, native excellence and creating musical work across turtle island connecting people, places, and ideas.

K.Benally & LETSJUSB aka, Katrina Benally (Diné) and Violetta Bennett (Picuri, Diné, Apache, Choctaw, Mexica) are making some of the best underground music out of Albuquerque, NM. They are two of the most hardworking female rappers to come from the ABQ hip-hop/rap scene.

Working with Knoxx and being able to come together in Fort Collins, CO was extremely inspiring. We never stay after performances to hang out or make music but we knew this time was going to be different. The energy was top-notch at the Artery which is where we all had performances. The gallery was nice enough to provide us with a speaker so, we could do some work before our performance and that's where the vocals for this piece began. The day before, Knoxx reached out and we agreed to try and make a track to Kinddub's recent sample pack which would be a beat produced by Knoxx himself, and that was it. We all got to work as soon as we were able to plug into a speaker. Everything felt like it was meant to take place
